AI Ethics Framework
Technology shapes our future. This is the HTBA framework for using AI with integrity, humanity, and awareness.
Why We Use AI
We believe AI can be a powerful collaborator—when used intentionally—to amplify meaningful ideas, accelerate creation, and widen access to wisdom and creativity. Our aim is not to replace human expression but to free time and energy for deeper, more soulful work.
Our Principles
1. Purpose Before Tool
We never use AI just because we can. Each tool must serve a clear, soul-aligned purpose that benefits our community, not just our productivity.
2. Human First, AI Second
AI is a collaborator—not the creator. Humans make the final calls on what we publish. Every piece of content is shaped by a living human voice, heart, and intuition.
3. Transparency Matters
We are open about when and how AI contributes. We never pretend that AI-generated content is 100% human-made.
4. Ethical Tool Choice
We prefer tools that are transparent about training data, fair to creators, and aligned with open-source or responsible innovation.
5. Community Benefit > Exploitation
AI should serve human flourishing. We reject uses of AI that exploit artists, erode trust, or prioritize scale over substance.
6. Continuous Reflection
Technology evolves. So will we. We regularly re‑evaluate our AI practices in light of new ethics, community feedback, and emerging risks.
How We Use AI Today
- Writing Support: Drafting outlines or first-pass text, always refined and finished by a human editor.
- Voice Synthesis: Using our own voice models for meditations, podcasts, and narration—never cloning anyone without consent.
- Sound Design: Generating textures or ideas for audio, always arranged and finalized by a human.
- Automation: Streamlining repetitive tasks (e.g., formatting, scheduling) to free up time for deeper human work.
What We Won’t Do
- Generate deepfakes or impersonate others without permission.
- Use AI to flood channels with soulless, high-volume content.
- Rely exclusively on AI for creative work without human curation.
Our Ongoing Commitments
- Publish an annual review of our AI practices and lessons learned.
- Stay open to community feedback on how we use these tools.
- Explore ethical alternatives, including open-source AI, local models, and creator-consent data sources.
A Living Document
This framework is alive—just like our work. As AI evolves, so will our approach. We invite our community to hold us accountable and co-create a healthier relationship with emerging technology.
